Member's Benefits
 
SAA members enjoy the following benefits:
- Special rates on seminars/workshops.
- Participation in SAA's members-only activities.
- Free publications, news and useful information from SAA and the investment industry.
- Juristic and individual members have exclusive rights to influence SAA's policies and operations, and thus affect the investment industry, whether locally or in the international arena.
- Free exposure in advertising job vacancies or seeking employment through SAA's web site.
- Juristic and individual members may participate and vote in SAA's general meetings.
 
Membership
 
Membership categories and qualification requirements are as follows: 		 
 
   
1.Juristic members

Membership is open to legal entities engaged in the finance and securities business, financial information providers, companies listed on the SET, and others involved in the investment industry. .		  
 
   
2. Individual members

(a) Those who have at least one year experience on securities analysis or giving advices to public with financial institutions which received securities license from the SEC according to the Securities Act 2535.

(b) Only those who have earned the CISA-1, CISA-2, CISA-3, CISA designation or their CFA counterparts (such as having passed at least one level of the CFA examinations) may apply for individual membership.

(c) Those who registered to be analysts according to the rules, conditions and procedures of the SEC and whose names were submitted to SAA by securities companies who are SAA’ corporate members.


In case the SEC’s rules are not available, the securities companies who are juristic members can submit analysts’ names to be SAA Individual members. However, the membership will be terminated whenever the SEC’s rules are available and that analyst is not registered.

 
 
   
3. Associate members

(a) Those who apply to be associate members.
(b) Those who attended SAA’s activities as specified.
(c) Candidates working towards their CISA designations or participants in one of SAA's financial and securities programs.
